During the event, we run organised tournaments over 3 days (Friday- Sunday), with prize giving ceremonies Sunday PM. Tournament sign ups are done via the website.
All LAN goers have a preference of games they play. Whilst tournaments of selected games are organised officially, LAN attendees are encouraged to play games of their choice. Whatever your preference, we are sure that there will be other players happy to join communal games. During down time, if there are games you would like to play, we encourage you to let us know and we can help find other players to join in.
The event officially begins at 18:00 (6PM). If you do arrive before 6pm, you will be permitted to drop equipment in the auditorium but will need to leave until doors open at 6pm.
Car parking permits will also be available to purchase for a discounted price on arrival at the theatre reception desk for the duration of the event.
There are separate male and female showers/toilets for attendees to use. There are two shower in the dressing rooms downstairs on the auditorium floor. However, this is also used for staff sleeping so will only be available during day time hours. There are also showers upstairs that are available to use 24/7.
The venue itself has a separate sleeping area upstairs in the gallery that is available free of charge. However, if you choose not to stay at the venue, there are local B&B options.
Theatr Brycheiniog has its own on-site Café. Start your day with a hearty breakfast served from 9am to 11:30am, featuring a range of delicious options to suit all preferences. Lunch is available between 12pm and 3:30pm, offering a selection of freshly prepared dishes crafted by the talented café and kitchen team.
Brecon town centre has a wide variety of local and chain coffee shops and food establishments. There is also and Aldi 2 mins walk from the venue, and Morrisons about 10-minute walk.
